The birth of Jesus. Society takes us away from that wonderful story. It’s not a time for Santa and maximize our credit cards looking for the best sale around. It’s celebrating the birth of a savior. Yes, we can celebrate by exchanging gifts but we should not loose tract of where that tradition began. To me the angel appearing to Mary telling of the birth of a son. And the three wise men following a bright star bringing gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh is where I am in wonder. Maybe because in my studies of Massage Therapy I studied and absolutely love Essential Oils. Or maybe because of being a bit nostalgic at this time of the year, who knows why, it doesn’t matter. I prefer to think of the original story rather than frenzy about overspending, and over stimulating our nervous system, pretending that all is well. It’s me, a Yogini hoping you too can see Christmas for what it truly is. The children love the real story, and they are the ones we love and want to please. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, with love and light.
