Epiphany or Three Kings Day

A holiday that stands out from the rest.  Something that was observed in Montreal when I was a young French girl.  It was also my grandmother’s birthday, so we all had a feast, usually at my aunt Simone’s house.  It was a celebration of the incarnation of Jesus Christ. Honoring the 3 kings who brought Gold,  Frankincense,  and Myrrh.  Aunt Simone always baked a cake that day with a dried pea or bean in it.  Whoever had a piece with the dried pea or bean was the King or Queen for the day and got to wear a crown.  It was great fun to have coronation that day.  I will always remember being Queen one time, a wonderful memory that I treasure to this day.  So Google it, if you are so inclined, you will find out much more about January 6th, that you never knew before.  And let this be an Epiphany in your life.  Also find out all you can about those sacred essential oils, that are a gift to humankind.
